about the publisher
Moving to a new home, whether across country or across town, is tough. As the owner and publisher of The New Residents’ Guide magazine, Linda Eaves understands. Having moved several times with her family to different cities and states, she knows how challenging it is to find businesses and services in a new community.
Linda grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee and is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Public Relations Communications. Her professional career as a Chamber of Commerce and Tourism executive for over 10 years and non-profit director for seven years, prepared her to venture out as an entrepreneur.
She first published The New Residents’ Guide in Hot Springs, Arkansas. With a 75% advertiser return rate year-after-year, the publication was well received by both local businesses and new residents.
Linda and her family now live in Nolensville, Tennessee. With thousands of people relocating to Williamson County a year, it was natural to re-start her business and create The New Residents’ Guide for Williamson County.
